Magic Jack for phone system

I received the Magic Jack and got it setup over the weekend. Now I can see how the service and product works overall. It offers caller ID, voice mail (as well as sends a copy to your email), call forwarding, free long distance in the US. I was able to port my current phone number and still have 911 services available. With all of this I have a yearly bill around $30.00. This is lower then one month of my old bill with the same features.

Now that I have had the Magic Jack system for a year and tested it out over that time frame. I have found that the app for the iPod touch and wifi connection allows you to use the phone system even when you are not home to make calls. This is a great deal when you just need to have a base calling system and teaching my kids the responsibility of a cellphone without the cost. I really like the idea and design for how the vmail can be forwarded to your email or another phone. I did have to upgrade the house phones to the correct Hz for clarity. But then again I was going to be doing that anyways. So reviewing the cost of the unit for one year, the new house phones and all of the features I got compared to the cost of the local Phone Company or Cable Phone company I was able to save a lot. You will need a high speed internet service for the product, which most homes within city limits have available. If you are looking to cut your monthly bills down for budget then look I recommend on Magic Jack for phone system

I have the Magic Jack setup and installed. I was able to port my person number over to the Magic Jack with no problem. I have the caller ID, voicemail, and the email setup for the phone. It was very easy to setup the 911 Service on the system. Once my number was ported and working I did a review for the week and it is working great. I receive a wave file in my inbox of my email to hear my messages. I looked at the cost factor and for the first year with the product cost and the first year of service it will cost me three months of my normal monthly phone service bill. From there it is free. Then each year after it will cost me one months worth of a local provider bill for one year of service. On the average I am looking at about $330.00 saving a year. But I don't lose any of the features I had before. To look for a good savings and a better option checkout the Magic Jack for a home phone system.
